Sept 6: Mixed Flock

These cheerful fellows spend a lot of time in my kitchen.  Hunting for ants, no doubt.  They’re more successful than I’d like!  They were good models for a still life.

July 17: Caramel

Meet Caramel – she’s the fantasy friend of my neighbor’s real goats named Licorice and Toffee. I’m on a goat kick, making goat cheese in the kitchen and painting goat portraits in the studio. Who knows where this will lead?

June 2: Something Fishy

I painted this monster of the deep for the Daily Paintworks challenge.  The combination of burnt sienna and various turquoise blues appealed to me. I’m always sneaking those colors into my paintings!
